Feedback from
my Clients

Who
are my clients?
My
clients cover a wide spectrum of people, all of whom are eager to take
action so as to improve the quality of their lives. For example,
while I work with fast-track executives who are strategizing to
move even faster, while yet preserving the quality of their family lives,
I also coach mothers seeking to develop home-based businesses that
will enable them to care for their children while staying at home.
Some of my clients are already at the peaks of their careers and are preparing
for high quality retirement. Some are on the way up. Some
are wondering which way is up - they need to be affirmed and empowered
so that they can learn to trust themselves and their vision. Some
are solo- or micro-business owners, or folks with a dream of becoming
business owners.
Some are students, or graduate students, who find that the accountability
of checking in with someone who is neither parent nor instructor, but
who treats them as equal partners, helps them to get the most from the
college experience. Some graduate students need help in the arduous
move from ABD (all but dissertation) to completion of their degree.
(The viewpoint of an experienced editor who has a background in
research methods does not hurt, here, either.)
What they all have in common is a desire to move forward, a willingness
to work at whatever their goals may be. They are united in their
eagerness to discover what they can do to encompass a greater and more
exciting life than the one they are already living. I am deeply
privileged to work with them, and I am inspired as I see them flourish
and grow, as their horizons widen, as they find their true authenticity,
and as they begin to live their dreams.
What
they say
I
was not raised to "blow my own trumpet," but I know that for
some folks it is reassuring to know that others have found benefit from
working with a coach. Below are some of the comments that I have
received from my clients, for which (and for whom) I am deeply grateful.
I
greatly benefited from your help! Thank you so much for helping
me walk back towards the land of the living!

"I
would like to thank you for the ongoing benefits I continue to
enjoy in my professional life as the result of our prior coaching
relationship. During our months as coach and client, we worked
together to identify four key areas, or needs, which were not
being adequately addressed in my life...Now, just two and a half
years later, I can look back on what have been the most rewarding
and satisfying years of my 17 year (thus far) career. In that
time, I have enjoyed four promotions, and
I am earning almost 50% more than I was when I took that first
leap.
In addition, I have received generous incentives such as bonuses
and stock options to encourage me to remain with the company.
I strongly believe that your influence
and guidance as my personal Coach helped me to learn how to open
doors for myself. Not only did I benefit in terms of
a more rewarding and fulfilling career, but I believe [my employer]
has also benefited in that they have gained a stronger contributor
and leader. Thank you for all you've done to help me realize my
professional potential and reach for my goals! Investing
in personal coaching was the smartest decision I've ever made!"

"Diana,
I've listed the reasons why I love our coaching sessions
together. Here's the list:
| Superb listener |
|
|
| |
Extremely intuitive
|
|
| |
|
Creative |
| Very thoughtful
|
|
|
| |
Articulate |
|

|
Motivating |
| Empowering
|
|
|
Ability to listen to the client's words
and hear what's happening inside the client -- things that
the client may not be aware of (sorry, not great wording, but
do you get the idea?)
Ability to cause the client to experience
paradigm shifts. Resourceful -- providing all kinds
of email support in just about anything the client requests
(from web advice to networking top tens)."

"I
want to thank you for taking on the task of being my Coach.
You have offered me the wonderful opportunity to finally stop
procrastinating, stop the excuses, and hit my issues head
on. With your coaching style, you have given me new skills
for now and for the future. You have masterfully given those
skills to me in a friendly, compassionate way, as not to overwhelm
me or scare me away."
"You have helped me take a huge step in my personal growth
and development...
I now realize that because of your help... I have re-focused
my life towards financial freedom and abundance."
"I must also say that due to your support and guidance I
am having a better life. I have implemented more family time
and hobbies which are truly more fulfilling.
Your support, knowledge and resources have been incredible.
Thank you for being there."

"Looking back on it, I feel most grateful for all the
coincidences that brought me to you and for your graceful
participation in my life since then.
"I have found a great role model
in you, as a coach, a woman and an abundantly wise human being.
You continuously give me permission
and encourage me to do my best. I feel happy and
free as a consequence. You have not only provided insight,
answers and advice when I asked for them, you have kept one
step ahead and provided me the gentle nudges or kicks in the
behind as needed. Most of all, you
have taught me to appreciate and value myself
by offering me your free and unconditional acceptance,
compassion, validation and support. There is nothing more
energizing and empowering for me than to be fully understood,
gotten and accepted. You are always making me right and supporting
that in me. I have become more willing
to change and grow, more able to be, do, get and give what
I want, by choice, effortlessly and with passion. Life is
good and fun this way. You are indeed my very personal
Coach of Choice.
"Thank you. I'd like to add special thanks for all the
additional time that you gave me when I needed it, the valuable
hints and advice, ideas and direction that you so freely shared
with me, and free newsletters that touch my heart and keep
me connected and last but not least
the fact that you want for me what I have not even considered
dreaming about: a full and fulfilling life abundant with joy,
light, love and laughter.
"With love,"

"My
support from you also doesn't end when the coaching session
is over. I am very appreciative of how generous you are
in your availability for responses to issues between coaching
sessions via email. You respond immediately with your take
on the situtation, and/or questions to look at further before
responding. That added value benefit is invaluable to me."

Thank
you very much for all you have done for me. We started on this journey
together back in November and at that time the doctoral defense
seemed a long, long way down the road. July 2 at 8 a.m. I'll be
defending. Thank you for your encouragement, direction, patience,
and for your great talent with the written word. You are incredibly
good with your warp-speed way of putting in black and white what
I murk around in for weeks.

"What
I so enjoy about working with you is how energized and motivated
I feel after each session. We're able to go deeper than the
mundane processes of organizing file cabinets, making lists,
etc. It's wonderful working with someone who really understands
my intuitiveness and deep spirituality and can accommodate
that."

"I
also wanted to express to you how grateful I am that you gave me
such constructive criticisms on my own website. Your words were
both upbeat and encouraging while at the same time you did not hold
back from being completely honest... I refer to your comments and
go line-by-line, making the necessary changes to my site. It's far
from done, but it does have a much warmer, personal touch to it.
Thanks so much for caring enough to offer me constructive criticism."
